We study how software and the institutions that depend on it change when AI agents do part of the work, teach teams to work that way with the guardrails an enterprise will accept, and publish the tools we build as open source.

TSL Intelligence Lab is the research, education and open-source company founded by Tamba Sheku Lamin. It is incorporated in New York and works with clients and partners in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union and West Africa.
The work starts with teaching. Our founder has been paid to teach almost every year since secondary school, from mathematics to classmates in Sierra Leone to graduate students as an adjunct professor at Pace University, and for a decade to the architects and delivery teams of a 1,500+ practitioner global practice. The lab applies that habit to a new problem: how teams design, build and govern software when AI agents are part of the team.
We research it in the open, teach it to the people who have to run it, and release the tools as open source so that universities, governments and smaller firms can use them without a licence they cannot afford or code they cannot read.
Consulting pays for much of that work and keeps it honest. The same people who teach and publish also carry design authority on live programmes.

The name changed by a Certificate of Amendment filed with the New York Department of State on 16 October 2026. Contracts, invoices and references issued as TpISENT, Inc. continue with the same company under its new name.

He is a dual national of the United States and Sierra Leone.
