Where we plug in
Lead Architect on implementation
Design authority and target-state architecture on implementation programmes, from platform selection through build.
- Design authority: architecture decisions, standards and reviews held for the whole programme
- Platform selection and estate design across composable and MACH, digital experience platforms, content management and marketing technology
- Full-stack implementation when it matters: backend, middleware, frontend; web, desktop, mobile and IoT
Shape: Fractional architect, 2–3 days a week, or embedded for a programme phase
Presales and solution engineering
Architecture for the pursuit: solution shaping, estimation, orals and proof-of-concept.
- Solution shaping and estimation during the pursuit
- Orals support and proof-of-concept builds
- Architecture narrative that survives technical evaluation
Shape: Pursuit support, scoped to the bid
Post-sales architecture and engineering
Rescue, performance and security hardening, migration, and handover to the client's own team.
- Rescue of programmes in difficulty: realigning priorities and technical direction
- Performance and security hardening; migration between platforms
- Handover to the client's own team, including developing the successor architect
Shape: Fixed-scope architecture assessment, or a defined recovery phase
Partner and alliance enablement
Solution architecture, joint pursuit support and technical enablement for platform vendors and their systems integrators.
- Solution architecture and reference implementations for a platform vendor's partner ecosystem
- Joint pursuit support with vendor architecture teams
- Technical enablement of systems integrators: certification paths, delivery standards, review practice
- Vendor advisory experience: several years on the Acquia Drupal Strategic Committee and on the Contentstack Strategic Partner Group, contributing product feedback and direction
Shape: Retained, or per pursuit
Mentorship and coaching
One-to-one mentoring and coaching for architects, software engineers, IT managers, executives and founders, online, on a retainer or in a block of sessions.
- Architects and engineers: developing the successor architect, certification paths, design-review practice, and the move from developer to architect to lead
- IT managers and executives: what to see, ask and decide about agentic AI, responsible AI and AI-led delivery; how to hold an architecture team to account
- Founders and early-career technologists: venture building, positioning and the first technical hires; a standing commitment to the Sierra Leone and West African technology community
Shape: Retained monthly, or a block of sessions; individual or employer-sponsored
Team enablement
Hands-on 48-contact-hour intensives and standing architecture guilds for architects, software engineers, developers, IT professionals, IT managers and IT executives. Participants build and deploy a capstone, not just attend.
- Six-day intensive team programmes, online, hybrid or residential
- Standing architecture guilds and design-review practice
- Agentic AI and AI-led delivery: the rules, hooks, commands and agent definitions that let a delivery team run an AI-led SDLC and AI-led DevSecOps with the guardrails, review gates and evidence trail an enterprise will accept
- Mentoring and coaching continue after a cohort for participants and sponsors who want it
Shape: 6-day intensive team programmes; institutional and executive pricing
What we work on
- Composable and MACH architecture; DXP, CMS and MarTech estate design and consolidation; vendor and platform selection
- Contentful, Contentstack, Optimizely, Drupal, WordPress VIP, Strapi, Uniform, Acquia, Pantheon, Liferay and Amplience; digital asset management (Bynder) and MarTech stack capability assessment
- Agentic AI and AI-led delivery: designing the rules, hooks, commands and agent definitions that let a delivery team run an AI-led SDLC and AI-led DevSecOps with the guardrails, review gates and evidence trail an enterprise will actually accept
- Full-stack implementation: backend, middleware, frontend; web, desktop, mobile and IoT
- Mentorship and coaching for architects, engineers, IT managers, executives and founders: developing the successor architect, certification paths, design-review practice, and what leaders must be able to see, ask and decide about agentic AI

Questions people ask
Is Tamba Lamin available as a Lead Architect?
Yes. Tamba Lamin takes Lead Architect engagements on implementation programmes as a fractional architect at two to three days a week or embedded for a programme phase, and also does fixed-scope architecture assessments, presales solution engineering and post-sales rescue and hardening. He contracts corp-to-corp through TSL Intelligence Labs, Inc. (New York) with US, UK and EU clients and is based on GMT.
Does Tamba Lamin offer mentorship and coaching?
Yes. Tamba Lamin mentors and coaches architects, software engineers, IT managers, executives and founders one to one, online, on a monthly retainer or in a block of sessions, individually or sponsored by an employer. Architects and engineers work on the move from developer to architect to lead, certification paths and design-review practice; IT leaders and executives on what to see, ask and decide about agentic AI, responsible AI and AI-led delivery; founders on venture building and the first technical hires. He has mentored and coached continuously for twenty-five years, from delivery teams in San Antonio and India to architects across Accenture's architecture schools, and keeps a standing commitment to the Sierra Leone and West African technology community. Email tamba@tambalamin.me with the subject line "Mentorship and coaching".
What makes Tamba Lamin a seasoned enterprise and solution architect?
Twenty-five years of architecture and delivery, including migrating one of the highest-traffic US federal web estates, a district-wide special education system for 1,600+ schools in New York City, and the establishment of MarTech and DXP centres of excellence in Mexico, Costa Rica and India that became the concentration of the 1,500+ practitioner global practice he later led. He holds Accenture's Senior Technology Architect certification and still writes code: he does not architect systems he could not implement himself.
Which platforms does Tamba Lamin architect for?
Composable and MACH estates built on Contentful, Contentstack, Optimizely, Drupal, WordPress VIP, Strapi, Uniform, Acquia, Pantheon, Liferay and Amplience, plus the marketing technology, digital asset management (Bynder) and customer identity around them. He holds designated subject matter expert and architect status across eleven DXP/CMS platforms, and also designs agentic AI and AI-led delivery tooling that sits alongside those estates.
What is AI-led SDLC training, and who is it for?
AI-led SDLC training teaches a delivery team to run its software development lifecycle and DevSecOps with agentic coding tools: the rules, hooks, commands and purpose-built agents that let the team move faster while keeping the review gates and evidence trail an enterprise needs. Tamba Lamin built agentic tooling of this kind that was used on programmes valued at over $10M. It is delivered as six-day team programmes for architects, software engineers, developers, IT professionals, IT managers and IT executives.
